Megan L. Williams

Meg Williams is an associate in Daspin & Aument’s real estate practice with experience in retail acquisitions, development, and leasing. Prior to joining Daspin & Aument, Ms. Williams served as in-house counsel for a national private retail development company handling property matters related to the acquisition and development of raw land into single and multi-tenant projects, which included negotiating purchase and sale agreements, facilitating financing for projects, resolving title and survey related issues, and negotiating with tenants and appropriate governmental authorities to further facilitate the development process. Additionally, Ms. Williams worked alongside business development teams, advising and managing several new project initiatives with national tenants. Ms. Williams also has experience in civil litigation and mediation.  

Ms. Williams is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee and is active in her community. She is a longstanding member of the Young Professionals of Chattanooga and has served the organization in various capacities, including as Board Chair, in addition to participating in several mentoring programs with local organizations.

Ms. Williams received her B.A. from Auburn University in 2008 and her J.D. from Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2012.
