Melissa Goodson is a paralegal in Daspin and Aument’s real estate practice, focusing on all areas of commercial real estate, including the acquisition, sale, financing, development, leasing and management of retail and commercial projects.  Prior to joining Daspin & Aument, Ms. Goodson worked for RED Development, managing the negotiation of commercial real estate transactions across its extensive portfolio, interfacing with outside attorneys, architects, design firms, engineers, brokers and title companies.  Prior to going in-house with RED, Ms. Goodson spent 18 years with another law firm representing RED and its affiliates, as well as other developers and retail clients.  Prior experience at both title companies and banking institutions has provided Ms. Goodson with a broad background in real estate and transactional law. Ms. Goodson has also served as chairman of several tax increment financing districts.
