Donald P. Shea

Donald P. Shea has a diverse background in commercial and residential real estate and focuses his practice primarily on retail and office leasing, shopping center development and redevelopment, acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Shea has extensive experience representing large landlords in retail and office leasing, property management and property accounting matters. Prior to joining Daspin & Aument, Mr. Shea spent years representing Inland Real Estate Group, Inc. as an attorney and the head of the department responsible for managing the negotiation of office and retail leases and related agreements for over 20 million square feet of retail and office space and handling legal matters related to the property management, acquisition, disposition and development of shopping centers and office properties. In addition, he also gained experience with office leasing matters while working for Equity Office Properties Trust, the largest owner and landlord of office space in the U.S. at that time.

Mr. Shea received his B.A. in Psychology from Miami University (Ohio) in 2000 and his J.D. from DePaul University School of Law in 2004.
